Happy New Years All! I have been hunting for the right cork board for the past 6 months, and all the really awesome ones are really expensive. I stopped by a store this past weekend to pick up paint, but I ended up walking away with much more than that. I purchased two 4 packs of 12 X 12 cork boards and I thought to myself, "Why don't I just paint these?". I even picked up wooden push pins so I could have the color of my choose.

It was soo much easier to push the pins into a cereal box than hold them and wait for them to dry. I highly recommend it if for some reason you need to paint push pins.

Once the cork paintings and push pins are completely dry I sealed them with a clear acrylic sealer. Since this items are going to go through a decent amount of man handling the paint will just come off if you do not seal them.

Then once everything is dry, hand up your cork pieces however you please! I thought it would be nice to alternate the painted portions with unpainted cork.

Part 10-England

This is the last of the England photos. 10 glorious days wrapped up in 10 blog posts.

One of our final road trips was down to the old navy docks in Portsmouth. Please note that I spent a summer watching movies about the British navy during the Napoleonic era. Ropes, ropes, ropes and funny hats! So this was a treat. Plus my traveling companion had family that was in the British navy.

Part 9- England

For our first three days we stayed in London and then we returned for our last two days. I loved seeing the juxtaposition of old and new mixed together, it was a completely different feeling than what DC portrays. I really enjoyed all the little details everywhere, on the lamp posts, sidewalks, trash can's door ways, etc. I am sure most people don't take the time to notice or appreciate these small details.

Part 8- England

We went a few museums in London. Personally being the brat that I am I wasn't really interested but my traveling companion wanted to go so we went. I grew up going to museums and some exhibits travel. Here are a few interesting shots I took while we were out.

TYLER- This is for you buddy! A glass dachshund from Egypt!
