Salads, when someone says the word salad generally you would think lettuce with tomato and dressing. This week we shot salads. Most of the dishes I shot didn't look like a stereotypical salad at all. I shot half a pear stuffed with strawberries, a lettuce with a napkin ring made of Cretans, and soup. It was a good variety of dishes all very different and unique. Well at least I can say I learned something today.

18 inches of meat
![]() |

I documented my friends and classmates build and photograph a 18 inch sandwich. In the middle of this huge sandwich is an inch metal rod that's about 1/3 inch in diameter. There is approximately 7 plastic disks in the sandwiched in between metal bolts. These disks were in place so the sandwich didn't collapse on itself, also to help hold all the meat in place. We folded the meat and cheese into a pattern then stuck a toothpick through it. After we were done building it, we photographed the sandwich on a black background. We had to make sure every little element was perfect.
