ICE CREAM!!! I learned how to make fake ice cream. Real ice cream is extremely hard to shoot, because it melts fast and then went its slightly melted it doesn't look yummy at all. To make fake ice cream you need a tub of icing and a pound of powder sugar.

Dear Tumblr

Tumblr I no longer enjoy blogging on you. You have been a terrible host. I hate your slide show feature and that you only allow ten photographs per blog. Also you think your so cool with all your flash elements. I hate to say this but your not, which is why I have to leave you. I will now be blogging with blog spot, Google has yet to fail me. So sweet dreams Tumblr, I wish I could say it was a pleasure.

Sarah Keller photography has moved to Blog spot!

Today I had the pleasure of shooting chefs in a kitchen. Unfortunately I am not really a portrait photographer, how ever there were plenty of things that I got to take pictures of. I have also decided after I buy my tilt shift lens I will be purchasing a 100mm macro lens. Most of the images in this post were shot with that lens. When shooting with a fixed lens it makes the photographer move around more to get different angles, it takes me back to when I first started shooting with my minolta 55mm film camera. well enjoy the pics!

Two Fridays ago, I was able to shoot steak in a studio. It was super yummy, I learned that beef gets darker that longer it sits out after its cooked. So for photographic purposes they would have to just brown both sides of the beef, so when your ready to photograph it, it will be just the right color. This steak was cooked all the way and it was yummy!
