So I know Thanksgiving was on Thursday, and I know I am a little late but hey sometimes life gets in the way. So my parents especially my dad likes to make a huge deal out of holiday dinners. The importance of holiday dinners has increased since I flown the coop. Maybe I am not there as much as others for their folks, but I know I am there for them than most and they are never far from my thoughts. I can't look in a mirror without seeing my mom looking back at me. Of course she can't look at Bell my 3 year old sister without seeing me looking back at her so I guess we are even.

Anyways they decided to cook two different turkeys, so they can brine one. Frankly they both tasted the same to me, but whatever they like to try new things. I will never forget the time my dad tried to make a breakfast casserole when I was a kid, it was one of the most disgusting things I have ever had. The tomatoes were right above the bread layer so it was super super soggy!!! He has gotten better since then about his experiments.

On with the pics!

My brother trying to hide from me.

 Dad prepping the turkey.

MMMMmmm, Ver brought our favorite cheap wine. Red Velvet Cupcake.
Yes, he fell asleep upside down.
He likes to lay on my chest and he is almost 30 pounds so its not cute anymore, but look at that stupid face!
Milo up to no good as usual.
This is the view off my parents deck, I really miss waking up and looking out over the lake. I grew up on that lake and honestly I wouldn't change it for a penthouse apartment in DuPont Circle.

England Part-7

We were only staying in London for a few days and we couldn't cover much ground so I thought it would be a great idea to take a river board on the Thames. It was amazing! We booked a Jazz boat which came with dinner. We ordered a pitcher of Pimm's which was out of this world. The boat departed an hour before sunset and the ride was a total of three hours. Since the world cup was still playing the boat was pretty empty, which was nice.

England Part-6

I know I am doing this all out of order. So here are photos from the hotel that we stayed in shortly after we landed. The place is called "The Wellington Hotel" it was right next to Waterloo station. It even had a pub on the first floor. On our first day that we stayed the world cup was playing and we thought it would be a great idea to watch it in the pub and have a bite to eat. We ordered Hamburgers and then were practically vegetarians for the rest of the trip. We ran into some guys outside the pub and ended talking for hours with them. It was pretty nice chatting with locals and who couldn't pass up a free pint?

England Part-5

I know I know I am dragging this out but I really can't choose just a few to share. So this is South Hampton, it was a small town a stones throw away from the cabin. We went out to pick up some groceries and had lunch. We also went for a nice long walk down their town center. A few things that I found interesting were that Bingo is a thing over there, that just blew my mind. Also instead of saying leasing they say letting. There were a lot of "for let" or "letting offices".
