Let's just say 2013 was a busy year. My life changed drastically for the better. I currently live in a row house in DC with two dogs and two roommates. Life is pretty good for the most part. I recently tried to stop smoking and during those 5 glorious days of going through withdrawal I edited a bunch of photos from my vacation to England over the summer. I started to dig through my photos from 2014, 2013, 2012 etc. and it occurred to me that what good is it to take photos and store them on a drive? Photos are meant to be shared or are they not? So I figured I'd start slowly putting them on my blog for my own reference or for others to enjoy.

Last spring I thought I had to cancel my trip to England and I was pretty down. My roommates left those items above on my bed. Jason made that card, his mother taught him calligraphy and he makes some truly beautiful cards! There is always interesting pieces of stationary around the house.
They do not sell Rococo chocolate in the states. It is ridiculously delightful and their anniversary chocolate has a corgi on it?!?!?
I have the "joy" of walking through different neighborhoods in DC frequently. Above is a pretty cool mural that's on the side of a building in Adams Morgan. There use to be a white house mural in that space but it was vandalized so they painted over it.
